Personal Training Services

Many individuals prefer the traditional concept of one-on-one supervised training. After consulting with your trainer, he/she will create a customized, goal-oriented workout program that meets your needs and objectives. This type of training is a smart choice if you have a history of injuries or a busy schedule that have prevented you from reaching your fitness goals. One-on-one training is available either in single sessions or in packages of three, five, or 10 sessions.

Swim Lessons at Fillmore

We encourage adults to sign up for swimming lessons with our expert instructors. If you’re a beginning swimmer, you’re never too old to learn! Coaches are also available to help triathletes, competitive, or lap swimmers improve their form and technique.

Massage

Treatment Modalities Include:

Deep Tissue
A technique using slow strokes and deep finger pressure to release chronic patterns of tension in contracted areas of the body. A deep-tissue massage helps loosen muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly.

Sport
This technique is a special form of massage and is typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries.

Swedish
A technique specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management.

Pilates

Focusing on the development of a strong body center or “core” and emphasizing total body alignment, Pilates is a movement system that uses spring driven machines and a series of floor exercises that strengthen the abdominal and postural muscles, creating a long, lean body. Club One at Fillmore Center offers group classes and one-on-one sessions.

Private Kickboxing Sessions with Fernando

Fernando is an accomplished martial artist with a 3rd degree black belt in Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu!

Fernando comes to us from Brazil and brings with him a warm smile and holistic approach to healthy living. He has aquired a B.S. in Natural Health from Clayton College of Natural Health and is working on a M.S. in Natural Health, from the same school.

You have most likely seen Fernando around the club uniquely training his clients through a combination of strength training and martial arts. You may also see him teaching your Spinning® or kickboxing classes.
